2020 is fast approaching and motoring enthusiasts are excitedly awaiting the coolest new cars to hit the road. The automotive industry has already started implementing an electrification strategy as early as 2020 otherwise expected to be scheduled at a later date. New and fully-redesigned cars are expected for 2020, however, it seems their numbers are diminishing as buyers are favoring sports-utility vehicles as their preferred rides. Small cars in particular are decreasing rapidly from 26 models in the market in 2016 to just 17 in 2019. Furthermore, the Chevrolet Sonic and Ford Fiesta are sadly calling it quits at the end of the year.
Though not as many new cars are being introduced in 2020 as thought, it still promises to be an exciting showcase that will thrill many car enthusiasts as they roll off the assembly lines by mid-year 2020.
